The Cross Column Chart object needs two [[DateDates]] or [[TextTexts]] columns (or one of each) that will be used to group data and one [[Value]] column that will be show shown as the columns in the chart.

In the example above example , the chart displays the ''Branch'' ''Profit'' by company ''Product'', showing also the [[Total column]].

The second example displays the ''Products'' ''Net Revenue'' by ''Year'', also showing also the [[Total column]].
